Trolling international department stores for the right kind of platters, napkins, and cutlery. Scouring Facebook marketplace to find the perfect table treasures. These are the spaces and places where you will find me at my happiest as I’m driven (obsessed?!) with wanting to host and honour people in my home in ways they will never, ever forget.
I consider this talent for hospitality a true gift, and for me it’s a calling.
My life-long journey of hosting people in my home, and my passion for setting an amazing atmosphere for making people feel special and comfortable and celebrated, is the driving force behind my book Practicing Hospitality.
It is a go-to manual for how to master the art and science of hosting people in your home with confidence, ease and grace — and is perfect for those who are petrified of entertaining, as well as those who love it. My book is a work of love — the culmination of a lifetime of outstanding experiences snuck between two covers — and I cannot wait to share it with you!

Rosemary as a Host
I realized, looking back, my natural knack for hosting at age 10 when I invited friends over for afternoon tea. My desire to create the most memorable experiences — and to honour others — has led me to host thousands of people in spaces ranging from homes to European villas to corporate offices.
