Livingstone Farm 1860 is a peaceful luxury farm stay just outside Guelph, offering a quiet escape from city life. The 1860 stone farmhouse blends modern farmhouse style with original wide plank wood floors and updated finishes, creating a warm balance of old and new. Seasonal experiences are thoughtfully curated, with breakfast items provided and local activities available to explore. Set back from a quiet dirt road, the home is reached by a maple tree lined driveway that opens to rolling countryside views.
Inside, the main level features a welcoming sitting room with a bay window overlooking the hills, along with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and a full washroom with shower. Upstairs, four original bedrooms and one very expansive bathroom, complete with a clawfoot tub and shower, have been designed with every detail in mind. The farm house features one king bedroom, two queen bedrooms and one bedroom with two twin beds.
Outdoors is where the property truly shines, with a flagstone patio surrounding a saltwater pool, hot tub, a covered porch with a swing, and a fire pit for relaxed evenings. Acres of rolling farmland provide stunning sunrise and sunset views, perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning or wine at dusk. The farmhouse is offered exclusively to one booking, ensuring complete privacy and a true country retreat.

Rosemary’s place was the perfect girls getaway! We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the peace and beautiful views. The house was stunning, a perfect mix of appreciating/honouring the history of it while still making it comfortable for current day living. We had all of the amenities that we needed and Rosemary was very helpful and proactive with communicating and providing tips about local attractions.
